PHILMONT 2025

Philmont is a high adventure base in New Mexico and is 1 of the 4 high adventure bases in the USA. The trip’s total cost is ~ $2,000. First payment is $150, second is $750 and Third is $750 and you have to pay for the transportation.

RISK ADVISORY

• Each participant must be able to carry a 30 lbs. to 50 lbs. pack up and down mountains that are 6,500 to 12,000ft high.
• You can have altitude sickness that high up.

Philmont is a beautiful scout ranch where scouts go and hike for a 7, 9, 10, or 12 day trek. Troop 539 will be going on a 9 day trek in 2025. UPDATES TO FOLLOW!
